A bad today doesn’t mean a bad tomorrow

If you learn anything about me from this blog, it will be that I am real.  I make mistakes, trust me, I’ve had my fair share.  I struggle.  I am no better than anyone.  I am just your small town, farmer’s daughter or your girl next door with big dreams. These dreams will come true March 2014, when I compete in my first bikini competition.  This is the most difficult thing I have done physically in my entire life, and lately it has been far from easy.

 

This past week has been tough!  I have been lacking motivation, willpower, and my workouts are slow.  I find myself dancing around the gym and rocking the air guitar instead of getting my pump on.  I’m writing this to tell you IT’S OKAY.  IT HAPPENS.  Just get back at it!  We all have good days and bad, in life and in the gym.  This is why each day is a new day, each week is a new week.  Only you have control over your effort and attitude in each given day-choose wisely! :)

 

Even though my workout today was slow, I wanted to share:

Pull ups 3×12

Dips 3×12

Lateral Side Raises 3×12

Curls 5×12

Triceps 5×12

Abs then HIIT workout: Min: 1-3 warm up, Min: 3-10: 30 sec. sprint/30 sec. jog, Min. 10-12 Cool Down

 

Make it fun!!!  Rock out on that air guitar once in a while!  Be a dork!  You only live once–love it!
